Stacey and Allen's Engagement Session

I posted a Blog entry a few days ago with a video and as promised, here are a few of my favorite pics from Stacey and Allen's engagement session. Congratulations again!

The following is a note that Stacey wrote after she saw the images from her engagement session:

This has always been one of my favorite quotes because it holds so much truth. A moment comes and goes, but memories and photos of those moments last forever. That’s why you want a photographer who can capture the moments that “take your breath away” so the memories can stay with you for years to come. When I got engaged in May 2008, I found wedding planning pretty easy, but finding a photographer quite difficult. It wasn’t until I saw the beautiful photos taken by Sheri Kendrick at Enchanted Forrest Photography that I knew I had found exactly what I wanted. I booked Sheri immediately, and me and my fiancé’s engagement session taken at Fort DeSoto was such an amazing experience. Our photos captured the essence of who we are as people, and who we are as a couple. We couldn’t be more pleased with our photos, and we are so excited to have Sheri photograph our special day. Special "Hop Into Spring" Session One Day Only

Enchanted Forest Photography and Embellish Boutique (www.embellishboutique.com) are partnering for a special photography session that is being held this Saturday, March 28, at Embellish Boutique, which is at 918 4th Street North, between Starbucks and Tijuana Flats.

These are spring pictures so I will be using a yellow backdrop. We will have REAL LIVE BUNNIES (thanks to Rebeccah at Animal House, www.animalhousepets.com) for the children to pet and play with while I am shooting. I may bring a few other props but as most of you know, my style is simple and so are the props.

I'm expecting there to be 8-15 proofs of each child from this session. Proofs will be set up online in password protected account. To see a sampling of proofs from the "test" session, go to my website, click on Proofs Online, and use the password "spring09". Also, by Tuesday afternoon, I'll have giant canvas portraits from this session up in my window.

Babies must be able to sit up on their own in order to participate.

The fee is $20 per child and that includes one 5x7. We are scheduling 2 children per 15 minute block of time so if you have two children, they will be scheduled at the same time. If you have one child, they will be partnered with one other child (so if you and a friend want to schedule together, just let Michelle know when you call).

*** All children will be photographed individually. Siblings and friends will not be photographed together.***

For a metallic finish on any product, add 20 percent.

Debut Of My First Animoto Slideshow

Well, I've been wanting to try out Animoto for quite some time and finally, I got to that line on my to do list. This is the first one. I need to adjust a few things but I am very, very happy. I used to spend hours producing a slideshow and now, it is lickety split.
I did this photo shoot at Fort DeSoto Beach. This is an engagement session for Stacey and Allen, a couple who will be getting married very soon. They both were so gracious during the session. I enjoyed my time with them. Ben came along as well and as always grabbed his incognito shots from wherever he can climb or hide. I'll still be posting a few of my favorites from this session on the Blog because as much as I like the slideshow, it doesnt' replace still shots. Look for those today or tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding in Tampa. I'm certain it will be a beautiful event to cover.
