Congratulations Nicole & Mathew!

I am so excited to be posting these images finally. With work and travel and mommying, July has been busy! Nicki and Matt married in the courtyard at the Don Cesar, one of my all-time favorite places to photograph weddings. They were a gorgeous couple, as you can see, and despite threats of rain, not a drop fell. Ben and I shot this wedding together and it was an absolute pleasure.

VENDORS: Quinn was their co-ordinator from the Don Cesar (www.doncesar.com) and made sure a Plan B was in place because of the rainy forecast. As a precaution, the entire reception was moved from an outdoor area to an inside room and all was done without a hitch. Guests and wait staff were informed and the transition couldn't have been more smooth. She did an excellent job. Stephanie from Delma's Flowers (www.delmasflowers.com) provided the gorgeous (and I do mean GORGEOUS) bouquet and corsages. Doug from Grant Hemmond (www.granthemmond.com) was the awesome DJ. I am always excited to hear that a Grant Hemmond DJ is going to cover a wedding that I am photographing. They are always fun, respectful and excellent at keeping smiles on everybody's faces. Darla Stafford (www.darlastafford.com) , hair and make-up artist, did a fabulous job. Nicki and the girls look absolutely gorgeous!! The updo she did was amazing. The make-up was natural-looking and everybody looked flawless. All the above vendors were excellent and I highly recommend each of them.

Matt and Nicole left plenty of time to get a ton of great shots utilizing the venue. I am posting a handful of my favorite images out of the 450 proofs that are being posted on their account. Enjoy!

Logan Elijah Arrives Early But Healthy

My friends Sara and Treavor welcomed their first child, Logan Elijah, last Wednesday, July 2. He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce. Sara's maternity session was scheduled Friday morning, July 4th, but instead of doing her maternity session, I was at the hospital snapping my first shots of baby Logan, who was the cutest little squeaker ever!! He was only 2 days old in these photos. Congratulations guys. May you enjoy every moment.
