Greetings Beautiful People

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Please note that although I do post here every now and again, I post on Facebook 2-3 times per day. I upload pictures from photo shoots as I do them. I post comments about specials and special events and offer Facebook fans first dibs on limited-space events. There is a blue Facebook link on this page which will take you to the Facebook fan page I speak of. Please take a peek over there if you want a more up-to-date glance at what's happening. Thanks again for visiting.

Christine's Head Shots

Christine stopped in to the studio a few weeks ago to inquire about getting some shots she could use on her website. She is a massage therapist and Nia instructor here in Saint Petersburg. You may be (like I was) thinking "what the heck is Nia?" It is sort of like yoga, Tai Chi and dance merged into one. Christine gave me a demo and it is not like anything else I've seen .... and I've seen a lot. ;-) Christine's office is just up the street from where our studio is currently located on Central Avenue. She is a spunky, fun, energetic young woman and I am so glad she stopped in to inquire about some promotional shots. We got together for about 25 minutes and took a little stroll in areas close to the studio. I love how many options there are within a block of the studio. The white wall shown below is becoming a favorite spot to use as a background. Christine is small in stature but don't let her little frame fool you --- she is strong like a lion. :-) It was a super fun session. I'm looking forward to working with Christine on future projects. To learn more about her practice, go to www.niastpete.com. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Happy Birthday Eli

It is just amazing how fast our little ones grow. Tanya brought Eli to the studio for his first photo shoot when he was just a tiny little guy and now, in what seems like a flash, he is already turning two. Eli is such a special boy. He has always reminded me of my own son, who is 7. Eli and Jaeden (my son) not only look alike but their personalities are very similar as well. Eli can be shy and cautious as can my son. Spending time with Eli, Tanya and TJ is always a most peaceful, pleasant experience. We did this recent session at Sawgrass Lake. It was an absolute perfect day. Because I am trying to get the Blog caught up with samples, I am only posting three of my favorites but there were so many more. Tanya & TJ, thank you again for sharing your precious little son with me. I enjoyed our afternoon together very much.

Thank you to the Hop Into Spring families

Wowee Zowee. What a day the Hop Into Spring Session turned out to be. I photographed more than 50 children with 3 very patient bunnies which yielded over 2,000 images --- now that's quite a day at the office! :-) I just wanted to say thank you so much to the families who participated. I had an absolutely fabulous time all day with each and every child. I could do that every day and be happy as a clam. I'd like to say a special thanks to Michelle at Embellish (www.embellishboutique.com) who thought up this whole thing and hosted the event. And a shout out to her husband, John, who was the best bunny-wrangler ever! They both helped me all day long and I couldn't have done it without them. And thank you to Rebecca from Animal House, who graciously loaned us those three perfectly cute little bunnies. I am so grateful to you all. Without the efforts of every mom (& some dads :-), Michelle, John, Rebecca and most importantly, our treasured children, this event would not have been the success it was. Keep checking back. I am hoping to post some images from the event when I am finished processing the orders and get caught up.
