Christy & Company: Much More Than A Maternity Session

As promised, I am posting a few of my favorite images from Christy's Maternity Session. As you can see, we did more than just photograph Christy's blooming belly. Christy and John wanted to include big-brother-to-be so it was a maternity/family session. We started with the family portion of the session doing all the shots with Christy's hubby, John, and their son, Liam. Then, when we were finished with those, dad and Liam left and Christy and I continued on with the session focusing then, on just her and her belly. It was a great photo shoot, full of mostly candid moments. Thank you Christy and John and Liam for sharing this special day at EFP! I can't wait to meet the little one ...

I love this shot. Perfectly candid. This was some early on negotiating between dad and Liam.

I have to say there was not a lack of love here. What a wonderful thing to have the pleasure of documenting.

This is one of many action shots I got during the session.

We let Liam have some time to demonstrate his personality solo. Boy, did he ...

There is a whole series of shots like this one where Liam just struck pose after pose. It was cracking us up.

Awwe. Love this for obvious reasons.

We asked Liam to pick out the fabric he wanted Mommy to wear for her belly shots. He did and decided it would look rather nice on him.

Christy and I had a lot of fun doing her belly shots. I'm posting a few of the more conservative ones here. Thanks again, Christy.
